Hey everyone, time for the weekly newsletter.

LAST WEEK:

Last week began with the performing at Terminal Tunes for Valentine’s Day. It was a very cool and laid back show. The guys played some slow covers and some of their own slow original loves songs. The people really enjoyed it. Friday found the guys back at Terminal Tunes for another show and after that driving up to perform at the Florida State Fair in Tampa. Before the band could get on and get thier “Mojo Working”, bad weather kicked in and killed the show. That’s okay. Festival staff let the band know that people actually requested for the band to perform this year. Don’t worry Tampa, will be back up there in April, so be ready. Saturday night the band came back to south Florida and performed at Gordon Biersch. It was, again, a very fun night. I don’t know what it is about the band and this venue, but people always come out and it is a smoking show. Sunday morning, the band was slotted to perform at the Jazz & Blues Festival in Margate. It was a blast from the first note to the last. There were kids, as well a old and young people out there just jamming and having a great time. “I love playing events like this were people can just come and see you problem free and bring their kids. Everyone gets to enjoy themselves”, says Jay. Right after the festival, the band had to shoot down to Miami Beach and perform on South Beach at Maxine’s. Had the venue rocking as usual.

THIS WEEK:

This week the band will be performing four times. The first will be, friday at Terminal Tunes and then the band will be performing back at Gordon Biersch. Satruday, the guys will be at Taco Beach Shack. Sunday, the band will be back at Maxine’s on South Beach. Please check the website to view show times, location, and directions.

WHAT‘S NEW:

The band was just invited to perform this year in California at one of the top three festivals in California. The Lake Arrowhead Concert Series. We are really excited about that. We also have new merchandise on the shelves. We have new tank tops, and tied-eyed T-Shirts in our collection. As well, we have more colors in the T-Shirts. Make sure you come out to the shows and pick up your new Jay Blue Band merchandise, or check on line at www.jaybluesband.com. We also have some new videos up on the site. Hey everyone, time for the weekly newsletter.

LAST WEEK:

Last week began with the band did four performances. The week began with a big jam session at Gordon Biersch in Miami. It was a rainy night, but everyone stayed out and asked the band to keep performing, so the show go moved inside. Do you know that people went in with their drinks, partied, and danced to the music. I have to say, every time I go to a show with the band, something really cool happens. The next show was the biggest of the week. The band performed at the DelRay Beach Garlic Festival. You want to talk about a crowd? Man, there was over 5,000 people there. I mean it was rocking. I knew it was going to be a great show when the crowd was cheering during the sound check. I just want to say, THANK YOU TO THE DELREY BEACH GARLIC FEST, IT’S STAFF, MR. BERN RYAN, AND ALL THE FANS. I mean the performance was awesome, and the energy from the crowd was amazing. There were even people who wore T-shits to the concert. I guess that means that the bands name is getting out there. Merchandise flew off the tables. Even during the sound check. I asked Jay how he felt about the show. He said, “I really hope that all of the people really enjoyed themselves. It was a great time. We tried to give them a great show.” I’ve seen Jay on fire before, but he was smokin. Immediately after the show, the band drove south to Hollywood, to perform at Taco Beach Shack. People sat out in the cold, and still jammed and listen to the band. Sunday, the band performed at Maxine’s. Now that was an awesome show as well.

THIS WEEK:

This week the band will be performing five times. The first will be, Tuesday night at Terminal Tunes. Nothing like taking your sweetheart to hear some blues grooves on Valentine’s Day. Friday there are two shows, Terminal Tunes and then the band will be performing in the Florida State Fair in Tampa, on the main stage at 9:00 PM. You are not gonna want to miss this show. Tampa, get ready. Saturday night, the band will be at Gordon Biersch in Miami.

WHAT‘S NEW:

The band was just invited to perform this year in California at one of the top three festivals in California. The Lake Arrowhead Concert Series. We are really excited about that. Hey everyone, we want to thank everyone who came out to the shows this week and say we had a blast performing for you and we hope to see you all again.

LAST WEEK:

Last week began with the guys performing at the Hollywood Beach Theater. WOW !!!!. You want to talk about a show. The band had performed there before, and they even had their CD release show there, but there were more people there this time than all other times. Thank you so much to the crowd. You guys gave the band so much energy back, and we thank you for it. Saturday night, the guys performed at the Taco Beach Shack in  Hollywood. Another blow out show. People came up with their kids, and even the staff enjoyed the show, and they are there all the time. Something must have been in the water Saturday night. LOL. Sunday, yes, Super Bowl Sunday, the guys performed at Maxine’s on South Beach. They didn’t get to see the game, but all of the people who sat outside and listen to the music didn’t seem to mind either. Thank you all for a great week.

THIS WEEK:

This week the band will be performing four times. The first will be, Friday night at Gordon Biersch in Miami. Saturday there are two shows. The event that every one has been waiting for, the Del Rey Beach Garlic Festival. The guys go on at 2:00 PM. Don’t Miss this all out event. The festival is huge. Later that night, the guys will be performing at Taco Beach Shack in Hollywood. Sunday, the guys will be back down south on South Beach at Maxine’s. Make sure you come out to the shows. You don’t want to miss this week.

LAST WEEK:

Hey everyone. It’s time the one and only Jay Blue Band Newsletter. I am here to report that the guys had another action packed week. They had two performances on Friday. One was at Terminal Tunes in Fort Lauderdale at 2:00 PM, then they drove to Clearwater and performed at 7:00 PM. Thank you so much to our fans in Clearwater. You all really know how to come out and have a great time. Also, we want to thank you all for purchasing our merchandise. I have been able to follow Jay and his band for some time now, and I have not seen so many people want to get a T-Shirt in a long time. That next morning the guys drove back south to perform another double performance day. The first was at Dania Beach Bar & Grill. Great crowd and great venue. WOW!! Right on the beach and tons of people came over from the beach to jam with the guys. Immediately after that show, Jay and the guys jumping on the road and headed for Gordon Biersch in Miami. Another great show. People actually parked on the side of Brickell Ave to watch the guys perform. I had a lot of fun. They have great food and the best drinks. Sunday, the guys headed to South Beach to perform at MAxine’s as they do every Sunday. Had a great time there as well.

THIS WEEK:

This week, the band will be performing at Hollywood Beach Theater this Friday night from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM. Saturday night, the guys will be performing back at Taco Beach Shack from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Sunday, Maxine’s will be the location of our last performance for the week. The show is from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

WHAT’S NEW:

There is some new news to report. We just ordered some new merchandise. We also have placed some new video footage on our site, as well as on Youtube. In addition, Jay and the guys will be filming a music video. Make sure you keep up with us. We will be performing in the Del Ray Beach Garlic Festival. The guys go on at 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM

LAST WEEK:

The band had another action packed week. They played three shows last week. The first was Friday night at Gordon Biersch in Miami. The crowd enjoyed themselves. The guys have played there several times, so the crowd is very receptive and interacts with the band. It was a usual, all jam session with the band playing songs that the crowd requested, as well as new songs that will be on the new CD that, hopefully, will be released later this year. The second show took place Saturday night in Clearwater, Florida where the band performed at Ozona Blue. Now that was a show. I’m lucky to get to go with guys, and come back and tell all of you what happens on the road at the shows. There were kids, elderly, old and young people dancing and jammin to the music. People pulled up on boats next to the venue and just hung out to listen. Great time. That next morning, the guys headed back south to perform at Maxine’s as they do every Sunday night on South Beach. The crowd really had a good time. They got applause after pretty much every song, and were asked not to take a break before the last set. Now that was a first. Even hotel owners from across the street, were jammin to the music they heard. Great week.

THIS WEEK:

This week appears to be another fun, but jammed packed week. The guys will be playing five shows in three days. We have two shows on Friday, Terminal Tunes in Fort Lauderdale early Friday. Then laster that night, the band will be traveling to Clearwater to perform again, at Ozona Blue. Saturday morning they will be leaving Clearwater to Dania Beach, Florida to perform at The Dania Beach Grill for the first time. So all of you in Dania, if you have never seen the guys play, don’t miss the show. It will be from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Short, sweet, and to the point. After Dania Beach Grill, the band will be traveling further south to perform at Gordon Biersch from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Sunday, the band will be back down on South Beach at Maxine’s form 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM. This promises to be one fun, but busy, week. Make sure all of you catch some of the shows.

WHAT’S NEW:

There is some new news to report. We have started to record the next CD. So far it sounds good. A lot different than the last CD. Also, the band had been asked to perform in one of South Florida’s biggest and most important festivals this year. The Del Ray Beach Garlic festival on February 11, 2012. make sure you keep up with us and make it out to this show. Some of the the past performers have been Jonny Lang and Cheryl Crow to name a few. One of this years headliners is Uncle Cracker. Show be a great event. Stay tuned for shows times. Also, the band has been extended, and agreed to perform in, the Florida State Fair in northern Florida. That show will be Friday night, February 17, 2012. The band has been asked to perform on the main stage and is the closer. Don’t miss it. All of you in northern Florida that have never seen the guys perform, you are in for a high energy, all out performance. Also, we have some new merchandise that will be coming out this year, but you all will have to wait to see it. HA HA. As well, next month, the band will be be back in Hollywood, Florida rocking the Hollywood Beach theater. Everyone in Hollywood who usually come out and asks when we are coming back, here we come.

Last Week:

Hey everyone, this weeks newsletter is officially out. I want to start out by saying we are so sorry for not having sent out a newsletter in some time, but it’s back. Last week, the guys got together and just put on some of the most amazing shows to date. Last Friday, the band performed at Gordon Biersch. This show took off from the start. The music was slammin’ and the crowd loved it from that point on all night long. People danced, requested songs, applauded, even asking for an encore. The manager even came out and jammed for a bit. It was amazing. Saturday night the guys traveled to Hollywood to perform at Taco Beach Shack and just burned the place down. People bought several pieces of merchandise either CD’s, T-Shirts, and or both. It was an all frontal assault on Taco Beach Shack. Tons of fun. I have to say, you know it is a fun show, when your jammin’ and the crowd asks you not to change the song and just keep jammin. Sunday night, the guys performed at Maxine’s, the usual Sunday venue. It must have been something in the South Florida air. because that show was better than the previous two. People stood and watched from the patios across the street from other hotels, and even stood on the sidewalk and watched the guys perform. The band even performed an hour past the set time. Just because they were having fun with the crowd.

This Week:

The band will be performing at Terminal Tunes Friday January 13th from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Saturday we have two performances. The first is in Tampa at The Black Heritage Festival at 2:00 PM. From there back to Taco Beach Shack from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM Saturday night. At Maxine’s on South Beach from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM on Sunday. Make sure all of our fans try to make it to a show. All of these venues are great places with great food, staff, and fun.

What’s New:

The band is currently working on it next CD. Some tracks have already been recorded. It is sounding good so far. Also, the band is working on a new sound, look, and all around show. So come on out to a show. Also, please everyone go and take a look at and make sure you get your Jay Blue Band T-Shirt, in whatever color or style you want. There is thin cotton, which allows you to stay cooler, and there is the regular cotton T-Shirt. bathing suit, or CD today. There are no shipping and handling fees, taxes, or hidden charges. The price is what you see. What a deal huh? We are also in the process of making some website changes that are going to be very cool, so stay tuned. Our pages are getting revamped, and the site is getting a face lift. All of our sections, like press and others are getting and face lift and being updated as well.

Jay Blue Band Newsletter Update

December 14, 2011

Hey all. Sorry it has take so long for us to post a new newsletter. The holidays and other changes has kept us backed up and busy. Just a quick heads up. The show schedule will be slightly slimmed down for the holidays so the guys can spend time with their families.

Well let’s get everyone up to speed. The band will be performing in California thus week on Saturday night with a possible surprise performance on Friday night. Stay tuned. Saturday nights show will be at Mission Tobacco Lounge in Riverside California. The show time is 11:00 pm. The band gets to close the place. So, all of our California fans, make sure you come out to the show and bring a friend.

The band will be flying back from California Sunday and going down to South Beach to perform at Maxine’s from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Don’t miss it. The new year has some bright spots for the band with  to performances, venues, and a new up coming CD. We are putting together touring to other cities, states, and possibly countries. For example, the band will be performing in the West Palm Beach Garlic festival, as well as the Tampa Black Heritage Festival. In addition to those events, the band will be back in California as well. Stay tuned to the website for updates for future shows.

Speaking of the website. Have you seen the new website? We really like it, and we hope you all do to so give us some feedback and let us know what you think.

As far as things in the works. The band is still working on material for their new CD. It’s gonna moving towards having a different feel and sound. We hope all of our followers and fans will enjoy the new disk. It’s projected to be finished in the spring of 2012.

INTRODUCTION:

HEY EVERYONE, HERE’S THIS WEEKS NEWSLETTER. HOPEFULLY AS YOU CAN SEE, WE HAVE A NEW SITE. HOPE EVERYONE LIKES IT.

LAST WEEK:

IT IS TIME FOR, YET, ANOTHER JAY BLUE BAND NEWSLETTER. THIS WEEK WE HAVE A FEW NEW THINGS TO KEEP EVEYONE UP TO DATE ON. THE WEEK BEGAN WITH THE GUYS SETTING OUT ON A BUSY WEEK AS USUAL. THEY PLAYED TWO SHOWS ON SATURDAY. ONE SHOW FROM 10:00 AM TO 12:00 NOON ON SATURDAY AT THE TERMINAL TUNES, AND THE SECOND SHOW WAS IN HOLLYWOOD AT TACO BEACH SHACK FROM 6:00 TO 10:00 LATER THAT NIGHT. JAY WAS UNDER THE WEATHER THIS WEEK, BUT THE SHOWS HAD TO GO ON. THE NEXT NIGHT, SUNDAY, THE BAND WENT DOWN TO SOUTH BEACH AND PERFORMED AT MAXINE’S ON SOUTH BEACH FROM 6:00 PM TO 10:00 PM. THE MAXINE SHOW WAS REALLY COOL BECAUSE THEY HAD PEOPLE FROM THE PATIO, ACROSS THE STREET, AND NEXT DO CHEERING, CLAPPING, AND COMING OVER TO SEE THE SHOW.

THIS WEEK:

THIS WEEK, THE GUYS WILL BE PERFORMING FIVE SHOWS IN FOUR DAYS. SOUNDS LIKE A LOT BUT NOTHING NEW TO THEM. FRIDAY MORNING, THE GUYS ARE BACK AT THE TERMINAL TUNES FROM 10:00 AM TO 12:00 NOON, AND THEN THEY WILL BE TRAVELING DOWN TO ONE OF THE HOTTEST SPOTS IN MIAMI, GORDON BIERSCH. EVERYTIME THEY PLAY THERE, THE CROWD COMES OUT AND IT IS A GREAT TIME. THE DRINKS SPECIALS ARE AWESOME, AND THE STAFF IS GREAT.

SATURDAY, THE BAND ALSO HAS TWO PERFORMANCES. THE FIRST SHOW IS IN JENSEN BEACH AT INDIAN RIVERSIDE PARK AT 2:00 PM. THIS IS A REALLY SPECIAL EVENT BECAUSE IT IS TO BENEFIT OUR U.S. VETERANS. ADMISSION IS FREE, BUT THERE IS GOING TO BE KETTLE CORN, SNOW CONES, HOT DOG, HAMBURGERS, AND THE BEST BBQ YOU’VE HAD IN YOUR LIFE. AND THE MUSICAL ACTS WILL BE GREAT AS WELL.
