Time for another Jay Blue Band Newsletter

LAST WEEK:

Last week was a long, but so fulfilling week, that we have to do it again. Actually, we are going to do it again. The first show of last week was at B.B. Kings Blues Club in West Palm Beach. The show as great, but the crowd and staff was even better. People stayed in the club all the way till the final song. The guys had a great time, but the cool thing was that people came to the venue from surrounding clubs to watch and hear the guys perform. We are building a good buzz there already. YAAAAAAAAAAA. The second show found the guys traveling out of town to Tarpon Springs, Florida where they performed at an outdoor venue that was so sweet. It had a nice big stage and the crowd was really into it. Quite a few people came up to myself, cause I got to go this week, and to the guys and said, “we are glad you played. We have not had this kind of good music in a long time. We can’t wait to see you again.” well, actually they will. The band has been booked there now for the next three months. There were so many people there from when the band performed there last year. Even the cook came out and remembered the guys and jammed out. Cool!!!!!!!!!!! Saturday, the band played in another section of Florida, Clearwater. The venue was hoping from the first note to the last. There were college kids, older people, bachelorette parties, birthday parties. Man, it was so much fun. They all stayed, danced, and partied all night. That place really knows how to treat thier guest. we can’t wait to go back there either. The band will also be playing there throughout the rest of the year. Way to to go Crabby Bill’s. I mean it was so much fun. Sunday morning at 4:00 am, the guys heading back home to south Florida to play Maxine’s on South Beach later that night. Great crowd and feedback until later, when mean Mr. Rain came. That’s okay, one lady said, “Play in the rain. We will stay here.” Now that was cool. Last but not least, the guys went over to Churchill’s to support a cause to raise money for a group at 11:00 PM. It was apacked house and they were even playing Hawaii Five O music.. It was wild. What a week.

THIS WEEK:

This week the band has four performances. Wednesday, the band performs back at B.B. Kings in West Palm Beach from 7:00 to 11:00 PM. Make sure everyone comes out to the show. Friday, the band will be performing at Gordon Biersch from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Saturday, the band will be performing at Taco Beach in Hollywood, Florida from 6:o0 PM to 11:00 PM. WHAT‘S NEW:

The band will be traveling back to Stuart, Florida to perform in another Jazz, Blues, and Rock festival in July. It is going to be awesome. The band also has been asked to perform at B.B. Kings in West Palm Beach for the month of June on the dates of June 4th, 12th, and the 25th. This is a great honor to be at this venue in such a big way. Time for YOURRRRRRRRRRRRRRR Jay Blue Band Newsletter

LAST WEEK:

The last week was smoking’. We had a great time at every show. The week began with the guys performing at Taco Beach Shack Friday night. It was not our usual Saturday night show, but there a crowd non the less. It was rocking. The crowd was really into it and people danced and had a good time. That place always has a great crowd, and their staff is really nice. Now Saturday, we traveled to Stuart Florida to perform in a festival called, Rock, Jazz, and Blues Fest. It was a huge and great crowd. It was to benefit Veterans and it was amazing. The stage, the people, the food. It was great. The guys went on and blew the crowd away. It was awesome. I love to see the guys perform at concert style events. They really put on a great show and the crowd always seems to really enjoy it. I was out in the crowd and at the merchandise table most the time, but I heard people speak about the show and they really enjoyed it. They also bought tons of merchandise. We are actually gonna have to order more. We just got some. But, we are going to Clearwater this week, and we always need a lot when we travel there. Sunday, we came back home and perform at Maxine’s on South Beach. It was tons of fun as usual, but a little different crowd. It was Mother’s Day, so it was kind of low key. I’m sure next week it will be back to it’s same old wild place. LOL.

THIS WEEK:

This week the band has five performances. Wednesday, the band performs back at B.B. Kings in West Palm Beach from 7:00 to 11:00 PM. Make sure everyone comes out to the show. Friday, the band will be in Tarpon Springs, Florida at Crabby Bill’s from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Saturday, the band will travel a little ways south to the Crabby Bill’s on Clearwater Beach. It’s time to connect with everyone with another Jay Blue Band newsletter

LAST WEEK:

Myself, and the guys in the band want to take this time to say THANK YOU SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH to all of the genuinely nice people we have met while performing. I mean, we can not mention how much all of you have touched us and made us feel like we were famous. At least me. LOL Jay always says, “Man I have a long way to go.” I just feel like this band really has something good, and it’s just a matter of time. Well, just wanted to say thanks. To recap our most recent shows. Last Friday, the band performed twice. The first show was one of our favorite shows, The Tunes. Great crowd. After that, the band traveled to Miami and performed at Gordon Biersch. The crowd was so receptive. The band really enjoyed the energy from the people. Miami is such an awesome place to play. Saturday was OUTRAGEOUS. The band performed at Taco Beach Shack for Cinco De Mayo. It was an eye opening experience. You would not think that the bands sound and music is actually, Cinco De Mayo music, but oddly enough, the crowd clapped and loved the music. I thought people were gonna possibly leave. I told that to Jay and he said, “well, we are gonna see if we can win them over.” I guess we didn’t do too bad. People actually bought T-shirts and wore them with sombrero’s. LOL. It was too much. Sunday, the guys went down to south beach and jammed at Maxine’s as they do on Sunday’s. They had a great reception there as well. Had people coming out of the hotel to jam with them.

THIS WEEK:

This week the band will have three performances. Friday, the band performs at Taco Beach Shack. Yes, we know it’s usually Saturday night, but they guys have to travel and play out of town on Saturday in Stuart for the second show of the week. It’s a festival in Stuart, Fl. WHAT‘S NEW:

The guys will be traveling back to Clearwater more frequently after the last few performances they put on. It is a real honor to be, not only asked back, but to be given multiple dates. I know Jay is really excited. “I just want to go up there and build a fan base like we have in other places. It’s not easy, but you if we play our hearts out, we can do it.” The band will be regularly be performing at B.B. Kings in West Palm Beach this month. Every Wednesday of the month of May from 7:00 PM to 11:00, except this week. Hey everyone, time for another Jay Blue Band newsletter. I am so sorry that we have not sent one out for the past few weeks. I even have a new style of writing. I like to play with fonts now and Jay doesn’t mind. LOL

LAST WEEK:

Sorry we have not been in touch with all of you, but we have a lot to tell you. We have had some monster performances over the past few weeks. Last week began with the guys performing twice on Friday. Once at Terminal Tunes, which had the people licking their chops for more, but the band was only allowed to perform for so long. Immediately after that performance, we all drove south to Taco Beach Shack. Now the guys had the crowd eating out of their hands. There were couples, kids, and even staff dancing. There were a few individuals there from other venues and events around the state, and have invited the band to perform this year. So, stya tuned for more shows in different places than the band has performed before. Now Saturday was TOPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The guys ventured north and performed in Clearwater Florida at Crabby Bill’s on Clearwater beach. This was an all out bash. The guys had people coming all the way from the beach, near by hotels, off the street, people even got of a near by trolley and came all the way down the beach to see the show. Now I have seen the guys perform multiple times, but sometimes man, they just seem to even blow me away. Jay was out of himself with his performance. And the bassist, Brian, and the drummer Maurice had the crowd in the palm of his hands playing the drums on everything he could get his sticks on, like the wooden poles, and even signs. “I was just amazed that people just kept coming and coming to see the show. I just want people to come out and enjoy the music, and they seemed to and the guys really seemed to feed off of the crowd.” I sat there and people kept coming into the venue, one after another. The band was asked to do an encore which included a guest appearance by Stephanie Anderson a local musical phenom of Clearwater. I’ll put it to you all this way. I had to stand next to Jay and help him sell almost out all of our merchandise on an entire set break. Jay had to return to the stage, and never go a break. That’s how packed and awesome the show was. It was just an amazing week and the best part was that the venue wants the band in Clearwater on a consistent basis. So thank you to all of you in Clearwater that came out to the show and we hope to see you at the upcoming shows for the upcoming months.

Hey everyone, time for another Jay Blue Band newsletter

LAST WEEK:

Last week had some really cool shows. At Gordon Biersch on Friday, I don’t know what it was about last week, but people have been dancing alot. Hey, don’t get me wrong, it’s great. It’s just been really catchy. At Gordon Biersch, people, and even some little kids got up and danced in the early sets, and even the later. Jay obviously liked it. “I love it when that happens. It just shows that people are having a good time, and if you can get kids to do it. They really must be having fun.” Well the show was very fun. And as usual, people came of the street before going out to paint the town, to sit out and jam with the guys. Saturday night the band performed at Taco beach Shack. Again, kids dancing, but we had the older crowd up too. That was fun. I like to go there and lay out on the beach until the show is over. Jay doesn’t mind. He’s very cool about that. I love following these guys. Sunday was the best. We had the manager, a couple from Australia, Memphis, and Chicago, dancing. But the best was there was a lady from Detroit, Michigan who came down with her kids and some of her kids friends and began tearing up the dance floor with the manager on duty to “I Got My Mojo Working”. It was so much fun, I wanted to go and dance myself. The song is only three to four minutes long. The guys played it for at least ten minutes, and they just kept dancing. It was hilarious.

THIS WEEK:

This week the band will have five performances. Monday, the band performs back at B.B. Kings in West Palm Beach from 7:00 to 11:00 PM. Gonna be an all out show. Friday’s first performance is at Terminal Tunes from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Later that night, is Taco Beach Shack from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Saturday night, the band is back at Taco Beach Shack from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Sunday, the guys will be back down south on South Beach at Maxine’s. Make sure you come out to the shows. It is official now. The band will be traveling to North Carolina, to perform in a festival there in August. Hey everyone, we want to thank all the people who have been coming out to the shows. We want to thank you so much.

LAST WEEK:

Last week the band performed at B.B. Kings on Wednesday night. WOW! I have seen the guys jam, but they set that place on fire. The crowd asked for another set, but the band could only perform up till a certain time. But, the band was invited back, so stay tuned for more dates. Saturday, the band performed at Taco Beach Shack on Saturday night. The rest of the week the band was spending time working on new material.

THIS WEEK:

WHAT‘S NEW:

The band members have noticed a quite a few shows that a lot of kids are there and having a good time. So, Jay would like to do something for the kids and now we have put together music lessons for kids. Any kid who is interested in learning drums, bass, and even piano can now get lessons from the band. That is our way of saying thank you for coming to the shows, with your kids, and allowing us to entertain you all. We have even made it possible that we will travel to peoples homes to provide the lessons. It’s a cool new thing. The band was just invited to perform at Humphrey’s By The Bay in San Diego. Humphrey’s is the number two ranked festival location in southern California. The band will also be back in The Lake Arrowhead Concert Series, the number three rank festival venue in southern California, later in the year, on September 3, 2012. Hey everyone, time for the weekly newsletter.

LAST WEEK:

Hey everybody we just want let everyone know how the band has been doing and what we have been up to. Well the week began with the guys performing at Tobacco Road Friday night. Had a great crowd and a really fun show. We want to say hello to some people at Tobacco who have always liked, booked, and enjoyed the band. Mr. Paully, Mr. Joel, and Mr. Jessup. We would like to say thank you to DJ Oski as well. Hope to see you all again. Mr. Cosmo, we hope you get better soon. Saturday night, the band performed at a packed venue, Taco Beach Shack in Hollywood. People danced all night. I’m starting to think we may want to have Jay and the guys play at more venues where people can dance. The new merchandise, T-shirts, and tied-eyed T’s, were selling like crazy. Thank you to everyone who came out and enjoyed the show.

THIS WEEK:

This week the band will be performing in Clearwater as well as in south Florida. Friday night, the guys perform at Gordon Biersch. You can’t miss this show. Best beer and drink special, and great crowd every time. Saturday night, the band travels to Clearwater and will performing at Crabby Bill’s on Clearwater beach from 9:00 PM to Midnight. We have not been there in a while, so all of our fans in Clearwater, we are coming back. Make sure you come out. Please check the website to view show times, location, and directions. WHAT‘S NEW:

The band has just agreed to played in some upcoming festivals and here are just a couple so far, Lake Arrowhead Concert series in September and Humphrey’s By The Bay in July. These are the #2 and #3 respective festivals in California. I told Jay that I have to be able to travel to these events. I would love to travel to San Diego. We also have new merchandise on the shelves. We have new tank tops, and tied-eyed T-Shirts in our collection. We will be trying to place them as soon as we can. Hey everyone, time for the weekly newsletter.

LAST WEEK:

Hey, we just want to catch you up on how the band has been doing. Our week began last week on Friday where they band was actually asked to play at Taco Beach Shack on Friday night and Saturday Night. Both shows, fantastic. Absolutely fantastic. I don’t know what is about that place, but people have been dancing all the time, when the band starts jammin’. Regardless, it’s fun. Saturday afternoon, prior to playing the Taco Beach Shack one hour later, the band performed in Coral Gable, Miami in the Festival On The Mile. When they got on stage people we not sure what to expect. By the middle of the bands set, the audience gathered around the stage and were clapping, buying merchandise at the base of the stage. It was just awesome. I asked Jay if this is normal for festivals in Miami. “This festival is always packed and has agreat crowd.” Sunday, the guys went down to Maxine’s to play the usual Sunday night show. Great time. All of the seat were packed for the whole performance. Gotta love South Beach.

THIS WEEK:

Hey everyone, time for the weekly newsletter.

LAST WEEK:

Last week began with the performing at Terminal Tunes for Valentine’s Day. It was a very cool and laid back show. The guys played some slow covers and some of their own slow original loves songs. The people really enjoyed it. Friday found the guys back at Terminal Tunes for another show and after that driving up to perform at the Florida State Fair in Tampa. Before the band could get on and get thier “Mojo Working”, bad weather kicked in and killed the show. That’s okay. Festival staff let the band know that people actually requested for the band to perform this year. Don’t worry Tampa, will be back up there in April, so be ready. Saturday night the band came back to south Florida and performed at Gordon Biersch. It was, again, a very fun night. I don’t know what it is about the band and this venue, but people always come out and it is a smoking show. Sunday morning, the band was slotted to perform at the Jazz & Blues Festival in Margate. It was a blast from the first note to the last. There were kids, as well a old and young people out there just jamming and having a great time. “I love playing events like this were people can just come and see you problem free and bring their kids. Everyone gets to enjoy themselves”, says Jay. Right after the festival, the band had to shoot down to Miami Beach and perform on South Beach at Maxine’s. Had the venue rocking as usual.

Hey everyone, time for the weekly newsletter.

LAST WEEK:

Last week began with the band did four performances. The week began with a big jam session at Gordon Biersch in Miami. It was a rainy night, but everyone stayed out and asked the band to keep performing, so the show go moved inside. Do you know that people went in with their drinks, partied, and danced to the music. I have to say, every time I go to a show with the band, something really cool happens. The next show was the biggest of the week. The band performed at the DelRay Beach Garlic Festival. You want to talk about a crowd? Man, there was over 5,000 people there. I mean it was rocking. I knew it was going to be a great show when the crowd was cheering during the sound check. I just want to say, THANK YOU TO THE DELREY BEACH GARLIC FEST, IT’S STAFF, MR. BERN RYAN, AND ALL THE FANS. I mean the performance was awesome, and the energy from the crowd was amazing. There were even people who wore T-shits to the concert. I guess that means that the bands name is getting out there. Merchandise flew off the tables. Even during the sound check. I asked Jay how he felt about the show. He said, “I really hope that all of the people really enjoyed themselves. It was a great time. We tried to give them a great show.” I’ve seen Jay on fire before, but he was smokin. Immediately after the show, the band drove south to Hollywood, to perform at Taco Beach Shack. People sat out in the cold, and still jammed and listen to the band. Sunday, the band performed at Maxine’s. Now that was an awesome show as well.

THIS WEEK:

This week the band will be performing five times. The first will be, Tuesday night at Terminal Tunes. Nothing like taking your sweetheart to hear some blues grooves on Valentine’s Day. Friday there are two shows, Terminal Tunes and then the band will be performing in the Florida State Fair in Tampa, on the main stage at 9:00 PM. You are not gonna want to miss this show. Tampa, get ready. Saturday night, the band will be at Gordon Biersch in Miami.

WHAT‘S NEW:

The band was just invited to perform this year in California at one of the top three festivals in California. The Lake Arrowhead Concert Series. We are really excited about that. We also have new merchandise on the shelves. We have new tank tops, and tied-eyed T-Shirts in our collection. As well, we have more colors in the T-Shirts. Make sure you come out to the shows and pick up your new Jay Blue Band merchandise, or check on line at www.jaybluesband.com. We also have some new videos up on the site. Just go the website, click the audio icon on the right. Once the box appears, click videos at the top and you can scroll through the videos that are now posted.
